NS2000 SMALL SYSTEM - BIG FEATURES
The Access System for Stand Alone applications with features normally only found in large integrated building access control equipment.
  • Low-cost independent access control system for one or two door applications.
  • Designed for use with most industry standard cards. Proximity - Mag stripe - Barcode and Airkey.
  • Card capacity in excess of 10,000 individually coded access cards
  • Also suitable for use with KPCR coded access keypads.
  • History buffer to store the last 1000 events which can be recalled via the inbuilt LCD display, or relayed directly to a serial printer.
  • Inbuilt power supply complete with regulated battery charging circuit, for use with sealed lead acid back-up batteries.

OVERVIEW- NS2000

  • Fully self contained unit in lockable metal cabinet, 353mm x 233mm x 85mm, with on board programming facility, liquid crystal display panel and 24:00 hour real time clock.
  • User friendly operation and programming assisted by English language prompts, with the use of 2 line by 20 character liquid crystal display and 16 digit key board. (Foreign language prompts are possible options.)
  • System and programming access protected by user selectable PIN code up to 8 digits in length.
  • Optional non volatile lithium memory socket available to maintain data memory for up to 10 years, without mains power.
  • Inbuilt power supply and optional back-up battery to maintain full operation for up to 40 hours after loss of 240VAC supply.
  • Capacity: 10,000 cards.
  • History: 1000 event history buffer, accessible on the inbuilt liquid crystal display, or via RS-232 port to optional PC or printer (History Buffer increased to 3000 events with 1024 card version).
  • Recorded history events are, time and date of all system activations, including card identification number, access granted and access denied. If system is connected to a serial printer, the reason for access denied will be recorded also.
  • Access levels: 3 basic access levels (Door 1, Door 2, or both doors accessible) are standard, expandable to 63 access level with optional 4-relay module.
  • Time zones: 8 programmable primary time zones, each with 8 independent secondary time and day settings.
  • Reader capacity: 2 independent readers, each can be overridden individually by time zones to unlock doors during selectable times and days. (With most reader types it is possible to connect 2 or more readers in parallel to each door).
  • Programmable security interlock function for 2 doors.
  • Programmable door access time, access denied time and door ajar time.
  • Programmable time zone override to the optional 4-relay module, in addition to the basic reader/door overrides.
  • Monitoring and automatic shunting of security alarm contacts to each door.
  • Optional anti-pass-back function ( 1 entry / 1 exit).
  • Auxiliary open input for each door.
